Auntie Diane’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Butter
˝ cup (125 ml)
shortening ˝ cup (125 ml)
white sugar ˝ cup (125 ml)
brown sugar ˝ cup (125 ml)
eggs 2
vanilla 2 tsp (10 ml)
flour 2 cups (500 ml)
baking soda 1 tsp (5 ml)
salt 1 tsp (5 ml)
sunflower seeds1 cup (250 ml)
chocolate chips 1-2 cups (250-500 ml)
Cream
butter & shortening, add sugar, mix thoroughly. Beat in eggs &
vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda salt. Blend into mixture. Stir in nuts
and/or chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at
3750f.(190 c.) For 8-9 minutes. Let stand for 5
minutes
then remove to wire rack. Makes 4 dozen.
